Farfetch needed a brand experience at Sole DXB 2019 that felt native to sneaker culture while embodying the brand's luxury positioning — something unexpected, immersive, and impossible to walk past.
02/ Idea
PXL+ designed a space rooted in nostalgia — a tasteful adaptation of the 90s neighborhood convenience store, reframed as a high-end sneaker destination. Familiar enough to draw people in, curated enough to feel like Farfetch.
03 / Execution
In collaboration with Spinworx Events, PXL+ led the creative direction and full on-ground management of the activation — from spatial design and fabrication through to the VIP rooftop experience overlooking the Burj Khalifa, with sets from some of Dubai's most prominent DJs.
