Bringing Parkin's small-business parking initiative onto the street with hand-applied branding across Dubai's parking bays.

01 / Challenge
Parkin's 'Spots for Shops' initiative lets drivers recover their parking fees by shopping at nearby neighbourhood businesses. But an app-based incentive needs a physical cue on the street: the parking bays tied to participating outlets had to be clearly identified and unmistakably on-brand, so drivers could recognise them as part of the programme at a glance.

02 / Idea
If parking is the friction point for small businesses, the parking spot itself becomes the billboard. The idea was to bring the 'Spots for Shops' identity down onto the ground — branding the designated bays directly so the initiative lives in the physical streetscape, not just inside the Parkin app, and every participating spot doubles as a marker of local support.

03 / Execution
Pixel Plus Media handled the production and on-ground application, delivering and hand-painting the 'Spots for Shops' branding directly onto the designated parking bays to Parkin's specification. A compact, precise job carried out on live public parking spaces, coordinated to land in step with the initiative's pilot rollout.
04 / Results
The branded bays gave Parkin's pilot a tangible presence on the ground as 'Spots for Shops' went live in May 2026, launching with 15 participating businesses across Dubai neighbourhoods including Karama, Deira and Satwa. A small footprint for Pixel Plus Media, delivered for one of the city's most prominent mobility brands.
